Beck grew up in the Wheatbelt on the outskirts of Toodyay and has always been a swimmer who is passionate about giving back to the community.  If Beck’s not working or coaching you will find her swimming laps for her own Open Water Swim Training.


Aquatic Duty Manager / TIC

Fiona has been working at Toodyay Aquatic Centre since the very beginning! She is a jack of all trades in the Aquatic industry with such qualifications as:

  • Aquatic Technical Operator
  • Qualified Lifeguard
  • AustSwim Accessor
  • Teacher of Aquatics -Access and Inclusion
  • Teacher of Swimming & water safety
  • Aquatic Trainer for the Education Department
  • Aquatic trainer for Royal Life Saving

Just to name a few!

When not on Pool Deck you will find Fiona shredding the downhill Mountain Bike tracks all around Australia! Fiona was Secretary of the Peel Districts Down Hill Mountain Bike Club for 4 years.

Fiona’s love for swim teaching is an asset to the community with her nurturing and passionate teaching style.



Sports Coordinator / Lifeguard

Claire has lived in Toodyay for over 20 years. She has an immense love for all things sport and outdoors. Claire joined the team at Toodyay Aquatic Centre in early February 2021 and has since gained her Pool Lifeguard qualification and works in the Kiosk/admin area.

Claire enjoys her work and when not on shift you will find her spending time with her three daughters, Imogen, Marley and Samantha and Husband Josh.



Beau has been in Toodyay since 2019 and started working at the Toodyay Aquatic Centre in November 2020. Since working at the Aquatic Centre Beau has completed his Lifeguard Qualifications and commenced upskilling towards completing the Pool Operations course.

Beau Loves music, the outdoors and when not on Pool Deck, he enjoys a hit of Tennis.
