Toodyay Recreation Centre is a welcomed edition to the Toodyay community, having opened to the public in October 2020.
The brand-new, $14 million facility was funded by the Shire of Toodyay, the Federal Government, the Western Australian Government, the local community and Bendigo Bank.
It includes an outdoor 25-metre swimming pool with leisure pool, a multi-purpose sporting pitch, four netball and basketball courts, four tennis courts and a pavilion with change rooms.
The integrated complex provides a community and sporting hub for Toodyay’s 4,500 residents. It is also located adjacent to Toodyay District High School – providing an easy-to-access fitness and social outlet for local young people.
The facility was built with the goal of making it an accessible and vibrant community space and we hope it does just that.
